Barbara Dill, of San Anselmo, California, left us on September 13 2018, age 71, with her family at her side after losing the battle with a number of rare cancers. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, to her parents Colonel Walter L Beeson and Ida Elizabeth Beeson. She grew up an Army brat or as her brother Larry Beeson (Anne) and sister Patricia Warnick (Don) would say, just a brat. She attended numerous schools throughout the country but graduated from Terra Linda High School in San Rafael. She was then off to College of Marin where she met her husband Terry Dill. She then attended San Jose State University. Her working career was concentrated on children. Either with home day care or with special education children in the school system. She also trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant and cared for medically fragile patients. Barbara is survived by her husband Terry, her daughter Kate, Kate's fiancé Matt, and her little dog Pip and other loving family and friends. She was a caring and devoted wife and mother, and was strong willed until the end. She will be missed by all. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Monte's Chapel of the Hills, 330 Red Hill Avenue, San Anselmo, CA on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00PM. We are asking guests to bring a book to exchange with other guests in lieu of flowers or donations.
