Sheila Finola (Murphy) Maguire

"She lived, she loved, she laughed and left" peacefully at home on November 14th.
Sheila was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bernard Maguire. A loving mother of Susan (Brendan) Fox, Bernard (Corinne) Maguire, Ann (Brendan) O'Hagan and Michael Maguire. Devoted Nana to her precious grandchildren, Martin, Nora, James and Teresa O'Hagan, Aidan and Anne Fox, Patrick, Elizabeth and Colin Maguire.
Sheila was the caring daughter of Patrick and Mae Murphy of County Cork, Ireland. She is survived by her brothers Derry, Bill, Kieran and Desmond and her sisters in law, Virginia Slevin, Rita, Nuala and Patricia Murphy and her many nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Sheila dearly.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Sheila was a graduate of Star of the Sea Academy '53. She married her husband in 1960, had a family and soon after moved to San Rafael/Northbridge where life-long memories were made.
We would like to extend special affection and gratitude to her loyal and faithful caretaker, Mele Akoteu and the staff at Hospice by the Bay, especially Jill Barkee.
Memorial Mass will be held on December 5, 2018 at St. Vincent's in San Rafael at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the San Francisco Firefighter Cancer Prevention Foundation www.sffcpf.org
