Abraham Lance Silvian was born on December 15, 1945 at St. Margaret's Hospital. He grew up in Whiting, Indiana where his father Dr. Harry Silvian practiced medicine and his mother Ruth Lillian Silvian, nee Muller, was a homemaker. He attended George Rogers Clark Elementary School and Lake Forest Academy in high school. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree and then went on to graduate from University of Michigan Law School. He passed the Indiana Bar and practiced family law in Northern Indiana for twenty-five years. He also graduated from clown school and performed as a clown - the Po O'Sol -for many years at schools and hospitals etc.
In his late forties he took flying lessons, was certified to fly a single engine and bought one!. He also loved playing the saxophone and the piano.
In late 1997 Lance was in a serious car accident and soon after recovering left the practice of law. He has lived in many different cities - New Buffalo, Michigan, South Bend, Indiana, Yuma, Arizona and Novato, California. When he lived in South Bend, after his accident, he went back to Purdue extension and earned a physics degree.
He died October 15, 2024.
