Obituary

Barbara Andrich Buscher

Barbara Andrich Buscher, died at Kaiser Hospital after a brief illness on July 8, 2023 at the age of 97.

Devoted wife of the late Fred Buscher, cherished mother of Susan Fox (Jack), Jim Buscher (Darlene), Nancy Spiegelberg (Rene’).

Adored Grandmother of Jim Buscher (Christina), Ryan Spiegelberg (Jessica), Jennifer Spiegelberg (Brandon).  Her loving granddaughter Meredith Buscher predeceased her.

Beloved Great Grandmother of Weston & Adaleigh Buscher.

Loving sister to Donald Andrich (Judy) and sister-in-law Maureen Buscher (Frank deceased), Her dear sister Frances predeceased her, cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Born in San Francisco on June 30, 1926 to Evelyn & Frank Andrich, Barbara grew up in Corte Madera, attended the Larkspur Corte Madera Grammar School and Tamalpais High School.

Upon graduation, Barbara went to work for Fort Mason in San Francisco.

It would be several years later when she met her late husband Fred at a Church retreat.  Barbara and Fred married in 1950 at St. Patrick’s Church and were happily married until Fred’s passing in 2000.

Barbara enjoyed teaching tennis and being the voice of San Domenico School as a Receptionist for 25 years.  She kindly volunteered for many years at St. Patrick’s & The Nazareth House.

Barbara’s Catholic Faith and devotion to St. Theresa The Little Flower were very meaningful to her.  She was a dedicated member of St. Patrick’s Church for over 66 years and a long time Larkspur resident until moving to Roseville to be closer to family.

Barbara absolutely cherished her family and friends.  Her quick-witted sense of humor and amazingly sharp mind at 97 went unmatched.

When you think of Barbara, honor her memory by saying a prayer, be kind to one another and always remember her favorite saying, “Keep the Sunny Side Up”!

To our “Dear Mom”, our “Loving  Mom’o” our “Treasured Barbi”, our hearts are broken but at peace

as we know you are in heaven watching over & protecting us with your devoted husband, Fred.

May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
