Barbara Evans Meschi 1931-2025
Barbara Evans Meschi of Kentfield died there 15 February 2025.
She was born 26 May 1931 at San Francisco, the only child of Robert M. and Lydia Tessier Evans.
She took her A.B. in Art from the University of California at Berkeley.
Like her mother, she was a gifted watercolorist and ceramicist, who taught school for a time at Santa Cruz.
In 1969 she married David J. Meschi, a research chemist, who died in 2013.
The couple made their home at El Cerrito and at Kentfield.
