Barbara McCullough Obituary

Barbara McCullough passed away April 24th after a brief but heroic battle against cancer. Barbara was a third generation San Franciscan and devoted wife of Bob McCullough, Sr. who passed away in April 2007. In 1958, Bob and Barbara and family left the city fog to locate to Greenbrae where they lived for over 25 years before moving to Belvedere. Barbara loved Marin and became an avid tennis player and later, a golf enthusiast at the Meadow Club.

Barbara is survived by her children: Bob (Erika), Jeannie (Doug), Brian (Jo Ann) and Larry (Jamie). Barbara’s seven grandchildren: Megan (Jordan), Christopher, Patrick, Kristin, Jenny (Denis), Shanna, and Margo brought her much happiness.

The Catholic Faith was foundational to Bob and Barbara’s lives. They leave a remembrance of philanthropy to many Catholic Institutions and other organizations benefiting Marin County.

A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3rd at Monte’s Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Larkspur. A private burial will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed to: St. Patrick Seminary, 320 Middlefield Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025; Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist, 4597 Warren Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
