Elsa Cabella Obituary

Elsa D. Cabella passed peacefully on June 10th, 2024 at the age of 66 at her home in Novato, She barely endured a 9 year struggle with multiple medical issues and debilitating pain. It is with Gratitude that Sutter Hospital in Novato discovered one battle; something other doctors never considered for three years. Extensive surgery and phys. rehabilitation provided improvement to Elsa's life for a time.  She was a native of Marin County.   The youngest of six children, her siblings include Joelle,  Andrea, Jay and Steven, Michele and Christa Cabella. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myra S.Taylor and Louis G.Cabella, and her brother Tony. Also preceded in death by her parent, Patricia F. Cabella, and siblings Jeff, Rick, and Robin Guasco, also survived by Terri, Phil, Laurie, and Cheryl Guasco, with whom she bonded the closest, and kept in contact.  Her long time partner of  many years, William L. O'Donell also proceeded her in death.  As a young child Elsa was a joy and a delight !   Elsa enjoyed beauty in art and nature. She possessed a loving and kind soul. She had a  thirst for knowledge in all subjects after she graduated, and continued to read voraciously. She loved the cat pets she had in life. She loved all genres of music; a day did not go by without music. She loved her friends. And she absolutely HATED to cook. Elsa will be remembered with much love by her family; she lives on in the hearts of  family, friends, and the many people she helped throughout most her life.  No services per her request; send a prayer; finally free from pain.
