Gregory "Gig" Ingrassi
San Rafael, CA
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gregory (Gig) Ingrassia on January 27th in San Rafael at the age of 54. He grew up in Corte Madera where he attended local schools and engaged in youth sports.
A lifelong A’s and 49er’s fan, Greg enjoyed following professional sports, however his favorite pastime was cheering on his nephews at their high school and college football games.
As a proud native Marinite, Greg spent over 23 years working for the County of Marin as an appraiser in the Assessor-Recorder office. He was known for his integrity, dedication, warmth, and wonderful sense of humor.
Greg is survived by his father Gaeton Ingrassia, his sis- ter Jennifer Ingrassia Lucas, his brother Christopher In- grassia, his nephews Michael and Dominic Ingrasia, his loving partner Cindy Vuong, and many loyal friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carol Ingrassia.
A private funeral mass was held at St. Patrick Church in early February for his im- mediate family. A celebration of Greg’s life will be an- nounced at a later date.
Assisted by Monte’s Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
