In Loving Memory of Jesse John Accomazzo

Jesse John Accomazzo passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on May 4, 1975, at Marin General Hospital. Jesse spent his early years growing up in Santa Venetia, California, aka: Scabo. Being raised in Scabo gave Jesse the kind of childhood every child deserves—a place where lifelong friendships were formed, and countless memories were made. At the age of 16, he moved to Fairfax, Ca., with his mother and stepfather.  Fairfax became his lifelong home, where he lived until his passing. He attended Gallinas Elementary School, Davidson Middle School, and he graduated San Rafael High School, Class of '92. 

From a young age, Jesse was an avid skateboarder and became an exceptionally talented street skater. Music was another constant throughout his life. He loved many genres but had a special connection to punk rock and hardcore. During the 1990s, he got into techno and house music and started spinning records at local, small gatherings. He had an extensive record collection. He collected other things like obscure toys, thought-provoking artwork, and posters from the live music shows he attended, each piece representing a memory or moment that mattered to him. On his body, he collected incredible tattoos created by some of the Bay Area's most respected artists. Jesse was a builder, a carpenter by trade, and he was very talented in his line of work.  He was also a dedicated Golden State Warriors fan.

He is survived by his mother, Gayle Page; his father, Steve Accomazzo; his brothers, Nate Accomazzo, Brandon Accomazzo, and Tyler Accomazzo; his niece, Tristyn; his nephew, Miki. He was blessed with a large extended family on his mother's side, who will cherish his memory and miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Page, who passed away in January of this year. Though only a short time passed between their deaths, we find comfort in the thought that they are reunited.

Jesse also leaves behind many lifelong friends who became family. Among them, Bryon Fraley held a special place in his heart—a brother in every way that mattered—and Jesse considered Bryon's family to be his own as well.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Jesse's caregiver, JP, whose unwavering dedication over the last five years helped Jesse maintain as much independence and normalcy as possible. They also extend their deepest thanks to the nurses, specialists, and physicians from Sutter Health and Hospice By the Bay whose compassionate care and support brought comfort to both Jesse and his mother during an incredibly difficult time.

A Celebration of Jesse's Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Log Cabin in San Anselmo, California.
