John of San Rafael CA passed away peacefully on October 2nd 2024 at the age of 98. John was born in Brooklyn, NY. Loving father to sons James and wife Catherine, Steven and wife Malaney, George and wife Anne and daughter Maria and her husband Yanni. He was cherished by his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. John, right out of high school in 1944 at the age of 18 enlisted in the Navy as a pilot in the Naval Air Corps and served his country in the South Pacific during WWII. He later had a 35 year career as a Sales Executive for Chrysler Corporation in New York City. John retired and spent the past 25 years living in the San Francisco Bay area.
