Julia B. Voix

March 27, 1928 – December 20, 2024

A longtime San Anselmo resident, Julia Voix was born in Arget, France on March 27, 1928, where she grew up on her family’s farm until she emigrated to California as a young woman in 1949.  She initially moved to Vacaville to work at her uncle’s laundry business for a short time before moving to San Francisco and later Marin County.

Julia is predeceased by her two sisters, brother, and husband in France and many of her dear friends that she’s had throughout her life including her dear cousin Adele who also passed away this past year. Sociable by nature with a love for life, she had no shortage of friends who enjoyed being around her and was adored by her family. Julia was an active member of the Petaluma Yacht Club and the Marin Amblers. 

She is survived by her two children Jeannine Voix Paganini (Kenneth Paganini), Paul Voix (Susan Voix), and grandchildren Isabelle and Simon.

A private memorial service with immediate family was held at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Her final resting place will be at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery in San Rafael.
