Marilyn Ann Constantino Lease passed away peacefully after a short illness on May 5, 2026, at the age of 84. Born to homemaker, Eunice and Navy Veteran, Clyde Constantino in Peoria, IL. Marilyn graduated from Academy of Our Lady High School in Peoria. After graduation, she moved to Chicago to pursue and obtain her nursing degree. Soon thereafter; moving out West with a friend to San Francisco, CA and eventually meeting the love of her life, San Francisco Firefighter, Russell Lease.
After marrying, Marilyn and Russell moved to San Rafael, CA and later adopting their only child, son Brian. She was a registered nurse that dedicated 38 years to caring for strangers in their time of need. Splitting time between San Franciso General Hospital and Marin General Hospital. A passionate reader, Marilyn, found joy in every part of life. Whether hosting friends and family, participating in her decades long book clubs, going to Museums, garage sales and Broadway shows.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Brian, daughter-in-law, Arianna and granddaughter, Charlotte. Her older brother, Jerry. Nieces, Jill and Janelle. Nephews, Jim and Jeff. As well as her nieces and nephews from Russell’s side of the family, including Eileen, Kevin, Michael, Katie, Jeff, Jason, Jenny and Jessica. And lastly, an enormous community of friends that she could not live without. Marilyn is pre-deceased by her husband, Russell.
Marilyn loved her wonderful life with everyone and everything in it.
Funeral mass to be held at St. Isabella’s Church on Friday, July 10th at 11:00 A.M.
