After a nine-year battle with prostate cancer, Mark K. Persson of Woodacre, CA died peacefully on April 12, 2021 with his wife and sons at his side.
Mark lived much of his life in Marin County. He graduated from Marin Catholic High School in Greenbrae, CA in 1984 and was a graduate of Dominican College, San Rafael, CA. Mark loved a life outdoors and was an avid mountain biker during the early days of the sport in Marin County. Mark was a member of the Marin County Motorcycle Association and the 10% Club. In later years Mark enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Serene Lakes and skiing at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort.
Mark is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nicole Persson of Woodacre; his beloved sons Ian Persson, of Seattle and Adam Persson of Woodacre, his mother Patricia Persson of Corte Madera and his uncle Bob Anderson of Nevada City.
