Mary Hammons Obituary

Mary "Jolene" Hammons passed away at her home in Mill Valley on October 4, 2018 at the age of 80. Jolene grew up in Kansas City, MO. and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1959. She then worked for Hallmark Cards as an artist. Her adventurous spirit took her to San Francisco in 1962. She worked in advertising and eventually owned her own agency. Jolene had many successes and honors throughout her career. Later she taught at the Academy of Arts and San Francisco State. Jolene enjoyed her home in Mill Valley and playing tennis at the Club at Harbor Point. Her free spirit will be missed by family and her dear friends. Private Services.
