Patricia Moody Fields

Long time Ross resident, Patricia Moody Fields, died peacefully surrounded by her four children, May 18th, 2023.  Born August 24th, 1933 in Park Ridge IL.  She was 89 years old.

Pat graduated from Marquette University with honors.  She relocated with her first husband, Dr. John Moody, to California, eventually settling in Marin.

Pat had a long and successful career in residential real estate, including the position of President of the Marin County Board of Realtors.

A mother of four, Pat was always looking for adventurous activities; making sand candles at the beach, attending the Mountain Play and the annual Christmas tree cutting picnic.  The most important event of the year was her annual Christmas caroling party.  All of these special moments included a gourmet meal prepared with love.

Pat had a passion for helping children.  She organized the annual back to school backpack drive for St. Vincent Boys School. Pat was also very involved in the annual canned food drive at the mall where she could be found dressed as Mrs. Clause.

Survived by, sons, John Moody (Gianna Sabella), Brian Moody, daughters, Kathleen Moody, Laura LaLonde (Dave LaLonde), three grandchildren, Colleen Moody, Michael Piatti, David Sedlik, sister, Colleen Medeiros and brother, Jim Burns. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Fields, sister, Marge Evans, brother, Tom Burns and granddaughter Christina Piatti.

Donations in her memory are suggested to The Christina Piatti Youth Memorial Scholarship Fund at Giant Steps Equestrian Center, Petaluma CA.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 24th at 11:30 AM, St. Anselm’s Catholic Church, San Anselmo.  Reception to follow.
