Raymond Donohue Obituary

Donohue, Raymond Joseph passed away July 26, 2021 at home in Corte Madera; he was 85 years of age.    Loving husband of Carol Donohue.  Born in San Francisco to the Late Raymond T. and Antoinette Meagher Donohue; brother of Sr. Marion Donohue, CSJ, Joan Donohue and the Late Vincent Donohue.   Loving father of Dennis, Michael, Thomas, Teresa and Steven Donohue; Father-in-law of Judy Donohue; grandfather of Joseph, James, Carrie, Anthony, Megan, Sarah and Matthew Donohue; and great grandfather of Kensley and Quinn Nangle.   A shipping company executive who retired in 2002, after 21 years as CFO of Matson Navigation Company, and who previously held financial executive positions at States Line and Pacific Far East Line in San Francisco.  A graduate of St. Ignatius High School (1954) and the University of San Francisco (1958) and a Certified Public Accountant.   Member of the Boards of Directors of Matson Terminals, Inc., Pacific Transport Company, Signal Mutual Assn., California State Board of Pilot Commissioners and the National Liberty Ship Memorial, Inc.   Contributions preferred to the Vincent Donohue Memorial Scholarship Fund, St. Ignatius College Preparatory, 2001-37th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94116.  The Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 114 King Street, Larkspur, CA.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Mission Road, Colma, CA.
