While enjoying his family at the beach, Ronald (Ron) Baccei, 83, had a life-threatening fall,
and returned to his Creator on Christmas Day. One of three sons, he was born in San
Francisco on June 19, 1937 to Dino and Edna Buehler Baccei, now deceased. He remained a
lifetime resident of Marin County.
Ron was predeceased by his first love Louisa Elvetia Getty, beloved wife Violet (Vi) Gunn
Baccei, and his daughter Jacqueline (Mark) Featherolf. He is survived by his son Greg
(Paula), and his daughter Julie Baccei Baza. Also surviving are his 23 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren.
Ron lived in Fairfax and attended Saint Anselm and Drake High Schools. Ron also served
four years in the Marine Reserves. He was employed as a skilled carpenter for Neil Schultz
(deceased), helping to build and reshape the Greenbrae and Larkspur cities, retiring in
2002
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private.
Please remember Ron as he lived his life, with love, kindness and peace.
Interment of cremains will take place at a future date.
