Sam Sprague 78, of Marin County, California passed away peacefully with his family members by his side on February 12, 2024 at 5:11pm. He was born on January 24, 1946 in San Francisco, California. He attended Redwood highschool and upon graduating in 1964 deployed into Thailand and Guam with the Navy as a Seabee. After serving he returned to Marin to start a family with his wife Sharon having Stephanie and starting what would be a 40 year career with PG&E. Upon retiring he helped with his grandchildren Tyler with activities such as the Pinewood Derby and watching Oliver with Tinsley, with some teasing along the way. Sam was a friend to all willing to lend a hand no matter the occasion, A neighbor who wanted the best for everyone around him, A loving husband for 56 years and counting, A proud father who spoiled his daughter, a proud grandpa who's mark will never leave. Sam Sprague was an all around good man who will be missed by many. There will be a viewing and rosary service at Monte’s Chapel of the Hills on Tuesday February 20th from 5pm-7pm. Rather than flowers please make donations to Marin Foster Care for Sam.
