Steve was born, raised and lived his entire life in Marin County. He went to Ross Elementary and Redwood High, graduating in 1977. Steve loved anything with an engine; Cars, boats, trucks... He was a mechanic by trade, first working at Russ Johnson Chevon at the hub in San Anselmo and then many years at Marinwood Chevron. After an injury laid him off work for a few years he reinvented his life by going to Trucking School and in his late 50's became a big rig driver. His dream job for sure, he loved every day he spent driving. Steve will be remembered for his ready smile, sense of humor and always finding the bright side of challenging situations. There will be a celebration of Steve's life Saturday April 29, 2023 at 1:00 at the Marin Rod and Gun Club in San Rafael. We would like to thank Montes Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home in San Anselmo for their gentle care of him and his family as we navigated such a difficult time.
