Suzette Marie Miller was born at San Francisco Children's Hospital on July 20, 1950, to her Mother, Marie Serafina Miller and her Father, Raymond Lee Miller. They lived in the Marina. They moved to Marinwood in 1955 and back to San Francisco in 1960. She attended St. Vincent de Paul from 1960 to 1964. The family then moved back to Marin to the house in Terra Linda. Suzette attended Terra Linda High School from 1965 and graduated in 1968. While in high school, she made some good friends, Kathy Rucker, Lynn Rode, and Lee Faustine, to name just a few. After graduation, she worked for an accounting outfit until they fired her because she had the mumps. She then went to work for her father as his bookkeeper and office manager. Lee, who got drafted, went to Germany and got out of the Army early for Christmas in 1969, started hanging out with his good friend, Suzette, and eventually, they started dating. They married on February 26, 1972, had a beautiful baby boy, Daniel Lee Faustine, on May 11, 1977, and moved out of their mobile home and into their home in Santa Venetia in 1978. Suzette was a wife, a mother, a bookkeeper, the treasurer for Dan's Club Scout pack and Boy Scout troop 39, classroom assistant for Dan's classed through elementary school, real estate assistant, architect assistant and also took care of the family's finances and taxes. Dan went to college at Chico State, graduated and moved to San Diego with his beautiful girlfriend, now wife, Jessica. Lee retired in 2013 and Suzette was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in August 2023. A month later, she had 3 seizures, and was sent to the hospital, never to return to her home again. Eventually, she moved into a wonderful assisted living place in Mill Valley, Marin Terrace, where Lee visited every day. She was there almost 3 years, and after some other health issues, she passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 2, early in the morning. She is survived by her husband, Lee, her son Dan and his wife, Jessica, her brother Scott Miller, her brother David and his wife and son, Susan and Raymond, many cousins, Stephen and Rick Lavezzo, Ron Long, Tim and Karen Long and family, Mike Long and family, Terry and Gena Long and family, Steve and Carol Miller and family, Wayne and family, Connie (deceased) and Mike Fahrion and family, Donna Hosher and family, and more extended family members. A memorial celebration will be held at Monte's Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 1:00pm with a get together afterwards at The Club Restaurant in Terra Linda on Smith Ranch Road.
