Thomas "Tom" J. Echo passed away on September 24, 2018 at the age of 76.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, three daughters, Shannon, Deborah (Christian), and Jennifer (Alex), grandchildren, Nathan and Ava, brother Walter "Sonny" (Barbara) and sister Lisa. Tom was born in San Francisco. He was a life long maritime engineer, who served in the US Navy, and was an advocate for workers' rights. He was an avid golfer, loved music and reading books. He was a dedicated, honest, loving and caring person with a vibrant and social personality, touching the hearts of those he encountered. He was loyal, passionate about his beliefs, and mentored others with selflessness. Family was everything to him and he will be deeply missed and thought of fondly by those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Presidio Yacht Club, located in Horseshoe Cove, Fort Baker, Sausalito.
