Valarie Kane

Kane-Valarie of San Rafael, CA passed away peacefully on Friday November 3, 2023 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late David Kane. Loving mother to sons James and Steven Johnides and their wives Catherine and Malaney. She was cherished by her 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A graduate of the first graduating class to the Fashion Institute of Technology, she spent a successful career designing apparel for women and children. Her award -winning career spanned 5 decades. She later retired in Florida before moving to California. A private memorial to be held at Monte’s Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo, CA
